Kitchens breaks 29 year old mark in 100 and 200

Back in the late 1980's, Beth Thompson was a force to be reckoned with.  A multi sport athlete, competing in both basketball and softball, Thompson posted marks in the 100 and 200 that have stood the test of time, staying on the books for almost 30 years.  In the 2017 track season, Alexis Kitchens posted some blistering times, finally removing Thompson's name from the record books.  With a season best of 12.39 and 25.46, Kitchens moved in to the top spot at North Gwinnett in both the 100 and 200 meter sprints.  Kitchens returns for her senior season in 2018 where she will attempt to lower those marks even more.
